Bookcliff, Mount Sopris and South Side Conservation Districts offer a cost share program for your conservation needs.  Improvements can include irrigation and range conservation practices.  Technical assistance is available from surveying and designing your irrigation system to recommending seed selection for your range project.  You must complete the application and have our staff review your project before it is reviewed by the committee for consideration and funding is limited!  Call the district office at 404-3439 to schedule your appointment today!

The partnership between landowners, Garfield County, Bookcliff, Mount Sopris and South Side Conservation Districts continue with the noxious weed program. This program has been successful for over a decade and continues to be a successful program for the Districts, County and most importantly, the landowners that we represent.  Call today for an on-site visit!

Four easy steps for a successful cost share reimbursement!

1.  Download and print the application or call the office at 404-3450 and we will mail you one.

2.  Call Steve Anthony at 945-1377 ext. 4305 or Hannah Judge at 404-3450 to schedule the required on-site visit to assist you in identifying, mapping, and your treatment options. 

3.  Fill out the application in its entirety, including the required map.  If you need assistance filling out the application please call the office.

4. Send in the application with a copy of your paid invoices by the deadlines of July 9th, 2021 or November 5th, 2021.  Reimbursement will be made within 30 days.

2022 Conservation Tree Sales   

Bookcliff, Mount Sopris and South Side Conservation Districts partner with Colorado State Forest Service to provide conservation seedling trees to landowners for a nominal cost.  Seedlings are grown at the CSU nursery, the conservation districts accept orders through the winter and trees are delivered in the spring in time for planting.  Survival supplies are also available at a reasonable fee.  Please click on the links below for the order forms and planting guides.  If you have any questions please call the district office at 970-404-3450.
